Job summary

Miller Maxwell Ltd in London is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to build the React interfaces traders rely on and the Node.js services that power them, tackling performance and data-throughput challenges.

You will design and implement Node.js APIs for high-volume market data, collaborate with front-office and engineering teams, and own the architecture across frontend and backend in a distributed, London-based team.

Qualifications

• React expertise with clean, performant components.
• Hands-on Node.js experience building real backend services.
• Proven track record of high-volume frontend and backend systems.
• Exposure to financial services or real-time data environments is advantageous.
• Strong communicator across engineering, product, and trading desk.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Node.js services and APIs that feed interfaces, handling high-volume, real-time market data.
• Collaborate with front-office stakeholders and engineers to translate trading workflows into end-to-end solutions.
• Own the quality and architecture of both frontend and backend codebases.
• Work in a distributed team with day-to-day presence in London.
