Job summary

mthree is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to join a market-leading electronic trading technology team within a global investment bank, delivering across web, desktop, mobile, and API-driven channels.

You’ll work on scalable, low-latency applications and collaborate with front-office stakeholders across the full software development lifecycle in a high-performance engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable microservices and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with Spring Framework, RESTful web services, and related backend technologies.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance full-stack applications supporting electronic trading platforms.
• Build and maintain Java-based microservices powering web, desktop, mobile, and external API solutions.
• Work closely with front-office stakeholders to deliver high-impact technology solutions.
• Contribute to architectural discussions, technical design sessions, and code reviews.
• Champion Agile development, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and engineering best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve development processes, tooling, and team productivity.

Full-Stack Developer - Electronic Trading Technology (Java, Angular, Microservices)

We’re hiring a Full-Stack Developer to join a market-leading electronic trading technology team within a global investment bank. You'll work on cutting-edge trading platforms used by front-office sales and trading teams, helping to deliver innovative solutions across web, desktop, mobile, and API-driven channels.

You'll collaborate with talented technologists and stakeholders across the full software development lifecycle, from design and architecture through to delivery.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and enhance full-stack applications supporting electronic trading platforms

• Experience with distributed caching technologies is beneficial
• Exposure to front-office trading environments or asset classes such as Equities, FX, or Fixed Income would be advantageous
