Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years within an Investment Management or buyside related company.
• Strong hands-on experience with React, including component-driven development and modern UI libraries.
• Hands-on experience with Python and API development.
• Experience with database integration using Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• Knowledge of Azure App Service, serverless functions (Azure Functions or AWS Lambda), and Terraform are nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with business stakeholders to understand workflows and translate requirements into clear technical scope and acceptance criteria.
• Owning assigned tasks and projects end-to-end, from discovery and solution design through development, testing, release, deployment and post-release support.
• Developing, enhancing and maintaining features across the Trading and Pricing applications, with a focus on reliable, maintainable solutions.
• Contributing to technical design decisions alongside the Software Engineering team, ensuring alignment with architecture and engineering standards.
• Building and enhancing front-end features using React.
• Developing back-end Python services and APIs using Django, integrating with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployments using Azure and AWS services, Terraform and serverless functions.
