Job summary

Millbrook Healthcare Group is seeking a software engineer to join the product engineering team. You will build, test and support applications underpinning essential services with a broad stack, taking ownership and growing your engineering skills.

You'll work with modern .NET and React alongside legacy VB.NET, .NET Framework and ASP.NET Web Forms, with SQL Server at the core. Expect learning modern patterns, APIs, Azure, automated testing and better CI/CD while delivering high-quality changes.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience building software with C#/.NET
• Experience building or consuming REST APIs
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Understanding of Git, automated testing and basic CI/CD practices

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and maintain application features across front-end, backend, APIs and integrations.
• Turn well-understood requirements into working software and ask for help early when unclear.
• Write clean, readable code and ensure changes are production-ready.
• Investigate defects and production issues using logs, debugging tools and SQL.
• Learn the wider product to understand impact beyond the code area.
