Job summary

Millbrook Healthcare Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a 24-month fixed-term contract in Southampton. You will own complex changes from design through to production, combining legacy VB.NET/C# and modern .NET with React/TypeScript in a mixed estate.

• Extensive full-stack C#/.NET experience.
• Strong SQL Server/T-SQL knowledge.
• Ability to work across legacy and modern apps.
• Experience with CI/CD and Azure.
• Strong debugging, testing and code-review skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and maintain full-stack software across web apps, backend services, APIs and integrations.
• Own medium-to-large problems and deliver maintainable technical solutions with limited supervision.
• Ensure code quality, security, performance and maintainability.
• Break down complex work into tasks and identify risks early.
• Provide root-cause analysis and support for production systems.
