Job summary

Citi London is seeking a data-focused Full-Stack Engineer to help make Citi Assist smarter and safer. You will work across the stack from React front-end to Python back-end, building systems for testing, evaluation and feedback, turning real-world data into insights that improve AI product quality and performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and deploying production full-stack applications.
• Strong Python and TypeScript/JavaScript skills.
• Strong data engineering, analytics and problem-solving experience.
• Proven experience with modern frontend frameworks, ideally React.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience, ideally Postgres.
• Experience building scalable backend services and APIs.
• Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift and containerised environments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, automated testing and engineering best practices.
• Experience with data visualisation, analytics or experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Build testing, evaluation and feedback platforms for GenAI products.
• Develop full-stack features using TypeScript, React and Python.
• Build scalable APIs, backend services and data pipelines.
• Design data models and frameworks to measure AI quality and performance.
• Create dashboards and visualisations that turn data into actionable insights.
• Analyse AI performance and identify opportunities to improve quality.
• Own features from concept and design through to production.
• Influence architecture, technical direction and engineering standards.
• Build with security, resilience, quality and regulatory compliance in mind.
• Mentor engineers, share knowledge and help raise the engineering bar.
