Job summary

Citi London is seeking a seasoned Lead Engineering Developer to architect and deliver AI-enabled platform solutions, partnering with the business to translate problems into technical outcomes. You will lead technically, mentor teammates, and drive roadmap while delivering hands-on Python/Java, with Postgres/Oracle databases and GenAI capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading software engineering teams.
• Experience with AI/GenAI and ADK is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical components aligned with business goals.
• Mentor junior engineers and potentially line-manage in future.
• Define and communicate technical roadmap with MD-level stakeholders.
• Collaborate with risk and other AI platform teams.
• Develop and maintain robust Python/Java solutions and ML workflows.
• Ensure CI/CD, testing, and production readiness.
