Job summary

Housr is hiring its first US-based engineer to join the global product and engineering team. You will work with the US and UK teams to build backend services, APIs and frontend experiences using PHP/Laravel and React technologies.

The role requires strong ownership and effective communication across time zones. You will balance planned work with urgent requests, ensuring quality while collaborating with Product and Design.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial full stack engineering experience.
• Hands-on backend with PHP and Laravel.
• Frontend expertise with React/Next.js/React Native.
• Experience with AWS and MySQL databases.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using PHP/Laravel.
• Develop web and mobile product experiences with React, Next.js and React Native.
• Deliver US product priorities and integrations with the wider platform.
• Act as engineering contact for US team and explain technical decisions clearly.
• Review code and maintain a clean, modular codebase.
