Job summary

Computappoint is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join its product-focused development team. You will design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using TypeScript, React, and NestJS, deployed in Azure, with AI-assisted tooling to boost productivity.

You will collaborate with Product, UX and engineering, participate in code reviews, and help shape architecture within an Agile framework. Mostly remote with a London office day each month may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with modern front-end frameworks (React) and TypeScript-backed server-side apps.
• Experience with NestJS or similar back-end frameworks.
• Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB) and RESTful APIs.
• Containerisation and cloud deployment (Azure preferred).
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot/Claude Code) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components of web applications.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and engineering teams to deliver user-focused solutions.
• Translate requirements into scalable, maintainable code and architectures.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and security standards are met.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards.
• Support architectural decision-making and drive improvements in tooling and automation.
• Contribute to testing, debugging, and troubleshooting within Agile delivery.
• Promote AI-assisted development to boost productivity and code quality.
