Job summary

Cloud People is seeking a software engineer to join the CTO Office in a near-remote role, with one day per month in London. You will work across full stack using TypeScript, React and NestJS, deploying to Azure, with AI-enabled workflows and Copilot/Claude Code tooling.

The team (~30 people) develops scalable, user-focused web applications and integrates AI-driven capabilities across products. You will collaborate with Product, UX and Engineering to design and maintain high-quality software,

Qualifications

Experience with modern front end frameworks, especially React.
Proficiency in TypeScript and server side app development.
Experience with back end frameworks such as NestJS or similar.
Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB).
Understanding of API design and microservices architecture.
Experience with Docker and containerisation.
Familiarity with Azure (AWS also useful).
Interest or experience in AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain front end and back end components across the core stack.
Translate product requirements into scalable, maintainable code.
Collaborate with Product, UX and engineers to deliver user-focused solutions.
Contribute to architectural decisions and platform goals.
Leverage AI tools to improve productivity and code quality.
Integrate AI-driven capabilities into products and workflows.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
