Job summary

Kpler is hiring a Mid Full-Stack Engineer in the United Kingdom to build core systems and internal tools across PHP backend and React/TypeScript frontend. You will maintain billing infrastructure, including Stripe-driven processes, and deliver responsive interfaces.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Finance, CRM, and Revenue Operations, ensuring scalable, reliable software and modernising legacy code in a fast-growing, global environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong PHP backend
• Solid SQL and relational databases
• Experience designing, building, and consuming REST APIs
• TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js and React experience
• Git, automated testing and modern DevOps practices with Docker/Kubernetes
• BSc/MSc in CS/CE or equivalent and strong English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Architect backend services in PHP with clean domain boundaries and billing systems
• Craft responsive frontend UX with React, TypeScript, and Node.js
• Ensure production reliability with end-to-end tests, logging, retries, and error handling
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, CRM, Revenue Ops and Support teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Drive code quality improvements and modernization of legacy components
• Maintain system health and observability including SQL schemas and CI/CD workflows
