Job summary

Adaptyv in London is hiring a full-stack engineer to help build LabOS, the orchestration layer that coordinates experiment scheduling, execution, data capture and results processing in a biotech AI-enabled lab environment.

Qualifications

• Experience across the full web stack with production systems.
• Ability to ship features from idea to users and iterate.
• Comfort with ambiguity and making plan-driven decisions.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted tooling and evaluating results.
• Interest in biology and running real experiments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create interfaces and APIs to give scientists and AI agents real-time lab visibility.
• Build AI-driven tooling to automate decisions across the experiment lifecycle.
• Convert proprietary hardware into API-controllable devices for programmatic control.
• Design scheduling systems coordinating many lab instruments with complex dependencies.
