Job summary

Tesco Mobile in the United Kingdom seeks a full‑stack Engineer to join the Acquisitions Platform squad. You will develop customer‑facing features, shipping high‑quality, tested, secure and scalable code while working with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment.

You will contribute with Django and Python, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, and REST APIs, collaborating across squads and DevSecOps practices. The role blends office and remote working, with a strong focus on delivery and reliability.

Qualifications

• Significant experience implementing full-stack solutions using Django and Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and Docker Compose.
• Experience using GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
• Solid understanding of AWS and basic configuration tasks.
• Experience with REST APIs and SQL databases.
• Security-focused software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Be a team player and deliver in sprints.
• Develop new solutions, features and drive technical excellence of existing applications.
• Deliver quality, reusable and modular code aligned to Tesco Mobile standards.
• Ensure code is documented, tested, secure and performant.
• Refresh and maintain legacy code where needed.
• Contribute to integration and performance tests for new solutions.
