Pax8 is hiring a Full Stack Engineer 2 for a permanent night shift in Makati, Philippines, to shape billing intelligence, automation, and observability across a global cloud marketplace.

You will design systems to improve accuracy, scalability, and resilience, building tools that empower teams and drive informed decisions. The role combines engineering, product, finance, and operations to deliver impactful solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience building modern full-stack applications with backend emphasis.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for development, automation, and data processing.
• Experience with large, complex datasets where accuracy and reliability are critical.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies, containerization, and modern deployment practices.
• Practical experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, JavaScript, and related engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Engineer better visibility by building observability platforms for billing performance and operational health.
• Automate critical processes to remove manual effort and improve accuracy across large-scale billing operations.
• Build end-to-end solutions including scalable full-stack apps, APIs, services, and data workflows.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, Support, and Operations to solve business challenges.
• Lead through expertise by mentoring teammates and contributing to architecture and direction.
