Job summary

Roc Search is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our Bristol team on a hybrid basis (2-3 days on site). You will work across AI-enabled product development and the system architecture that powers the platform.

You will influence how systems are designed, how AI is integrated into software, and how the platform evolves as the business grows. Key requirements include hands-on web app architecture, experience with APIs, distributed systems, and building AI-led solutions.

Full Stack Developer – AI & Software Architecture- Bristol (Hybrid, 2-3 days a week onsite)

Are you a Full Stack Developer who enjoys working at the cutting edge of AI, software development and system architecture?

We're working with an ambitious and fast-growing technology business that is building innovative tools to change the way modern applications are designed, developed and deployed.

They're looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join their engineering team and work across both product development and the underlying architecture that powers their platform.

This isn't a role where you'll simply be building features from a predefined specification. You'll have the opportunity to influence how systems are designed, how AI is integrated into software, and how the platform evolves as the business grows.

Skills required-

• Proven experience building and architecting modern web applications.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and system design.
• Hands-on experience working with AI, LLMs or Generative AI in production or serious development environments.
• Experience building AI-led systems, rather than simply using AI coding tools.
• Understanding of how to architect applications around LLMs, AI agents, APIs, data and external services.
• Experience with event sourcing and/or event-driven architecture.
• Strong understanding of APIs, distributed systems and scalable application design.
• A good understanding of testing, maintainability and production-quality software.
• The ability to make sound technical decisions and explain the reasoning behind them.
