Job summary

Motion Applied is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to develop next-generation digital products and AI-powered workflows. You will deliver web applications, AI-enabled interfaces, copilot experiences, and reusable frameworks that span frontend, backend, data and AI technologies.

You will design scalable, high-performance solutions, own features end-to-end, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate user needs into effective software living across multiple domains.

Qualifications

• Strong programming experience in Python, C#, .NET or other OO languages.
• Experience with version control systems and CI/CD practices.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and system design principles.
• Experience building, testing, deploying and monitoring production software.
• Knowledge of performance analysis, profiling and optimisation techniques.
• Experience with package management and build automation tools.
• Experience developing data-driven applications and distributed systems.
• Experience with stream processing technologies such as Apache Kafka.
• Experience deploying and operating containerised applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Frontend development experience using React, Angular, or similar modern frameworks.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design and build modern web applications and intuitive, high-performance user experiences.
• Create reusable frontend components, libraries, and application frameworks.
• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate technical approaches and UX designs.
• Own features throughout the software development lifecycle from concept to deployment and support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, technical design discussions and code reviews.
• Build and maintain APIs, backend services, and integrations that support application functionality.
• Ensure applications meet high standards of quality, performance, security and maintainability.
