Job summary

Butternut Box in Blyth/Worksop is seeking a Fulfilment Lead Operator to oversee the timely, high-quality fulfilment of customer orders. You will supervise the team, drive performance against KPIs and support the Team Leader in operational improvements.

The role emphasizes safety, hygiene, and collaboration with multiple functions, with a Monday to Sunday shift pattern on days and weekends. A passion for quality and dogs is valued.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a line leader or area leader within the food manufacturing sector (preferred).
• Ability to read and communicate confidently in English.
• Numerate and comfortable with numbers.
• Hard-working and eager to learn with a proactive attitude.
• Flexible, pragmatic, resilient and humble.
• Committed to food quality and safety.
• Loves dogs (naturally).

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for the timely fulfilment of high-quality customer orders.
• Provide supervision and support to the fulfilment team to meet KPIs.
• Assist the Team Leader by monitoring and improving team performance.
• Maintain a safe, tidy and hygienic working environment.
• Serve as point of contact for regular performance review meetings.
• Attend daily review meetings as required.
• Handle general tasks such as waste processing and order packing.
• Work to relevant standards and KPIs, collaborating with Engineering, Technical, Production and Warehousing teams.

Role: Fulfilment Lead Operator

Location: Blyth, Worksop

Salary : £15.76 per hour

Hours: We are pleased to say, this is a full-time permanent contract, you will be working a rolling average of 41 hours per week working on a shift rotation of days and some weekend working. The working shifts days consisting of 7am to 7pm.

The job:

• Be accountable for the timely fulfilment of high-quality customer orders
• Provide supervision and support to the fulfilment team in order to meet key operational metrics of quality, packing accuracy and packing rates
• Assist the Team Leader by monitoring & improving your teams performance in order to achieve growth and accuracy in a supportive environment
• Work in a safe way following all appropriate safety procedures by maintaining a tidy and hygienic working environment.
• Point of contact for Team Leader for regular performance review meetings
• Occasional attendance and contribution at daily review meetings
• Other general tasks waste processing, order packing etc.
• Work to relevant standards and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
• Work well with multiple functional teams including Engineering, Technical, Production and Warehousing.
