Job summary

Butternut Box in Blyth, Doncaster is hiring for a full-time role on a rotating shift schedule. You will unpack, pack, load and unload items while maintaining strict safety and hygiene standards.

You’ll help with general warehouse duties and conduct quality checks to ensure product specifications are met. The ideal candidate is hard-working, adaptable, and enthusiastic about dogs, with good English skills and a commitment to food safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Available for rotating shift schedule – mix of days/nights and weekend work.
• Hard-working and diligent with a hunger to learn.
• Comfortable working with raw materials such as beef, pork, chicken, turkey, lamb.

Responsibilities

• Work in a safe way following all appropriate safety procedures and wearing protective equipment correctly at all times
• Unpack, packing, loading and unloading (boxes, finished goods, raw materials), monitoring production lines
• Complete general tasks such as waste processing and order packing
• Work to relevant standards and Key Performance Indicators
• Maintain general facility hygiene - floors, walls and conveyors
• Be humble in work duties, jump in fulfilment area or carry out warehouse duties
• Conduct quality checks ensuring that we meet product specifications

Job description

Salary: £32,642 (£15.26 per hour)
Hours: We are pleased to say, this is a full-time permanent contract, you will be working a rolling average of 41 hours per week working on a shift rotation of days and some weekend working. The working shifts days consisting of 7am to 7pm and nights consisting of 7pm-7am.

Such as:

• 4 on/ 4 off = 2 day, 2 nights
• 5 on, 5 off = 3 days, 2 nights
• 5 on, 5 off = 2 days, 3 nights

The job:
