Zusammenfassung

Arriva Midlands North Limited is seeking a dedicated Cleaner Fueller Shunter to join our workshop team. The role involves cleaning workshop areas and vehicles to Arriva standards, fuelling the fleet, and maintaining safety and cleanliness throughout the shift.

Training will be provided for PCV-related duties. The successful candidate will work full time (38 hours per week), enjoy career progression, and benefit from Arriva’s pension, travel discounts, and employee perks.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience would be advantageous; full training will be given.
• Good communication skills.
• Team worker.

Aufgaben

• Ensure all workshop areas are clean, tidy and organised.
• Clean vehicles to Arriva standards and maintain records.
• Re-fuel vehicle fleet for next day’s service.
• Keep fuelling area clean and hazards away.
• Carry out daily sweep and mop; deep interior cleans periodically.
• Follow health & safety and company policies.

The role will involve:

• Ensuring that all areas of the workshop are clean, tidy and organised.
• Clean vehicles to comply with Arriva standards and ensure that all records are maintained correctly.
• Re-fuel vehicle fleet in readiness for the next days’ service.
• Ensure the fuelling area is clean and any hazards are removed prior to work.
• Carry out daily sweep and mop with deep interior cleans occasionally.
• To fully understand and comply with all company and statutory relating health & safety and working practices and all company working policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience would be advantageous however, full training will be given.
• Good communication skills.
• Team worker.
• Full UK driving license (Manual, 6 points or less).
• Ability to pass fit for a PCV pre-employment medical.
