Job summary

SCCI Group is seeking a Civils Project Co-ordinator in Glasgow to support FTTH civil engineering projects from survey through to handover. You will coordinate information, permits, programmes and site requirements while working with civil gangs, fibre teams, subcontractors and clients.

This hands-on role focuses on coordination rather than project management, ideal for someone with industry knowledge looking to develop coordination skills in telecoms and civils.

Qualifications

• Experience in civils, telecoms, FTTH or utilities environments.
• Good understanding of civils works and streetworks.
• Experience with site teams, subcontractors or construction teams.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with multiple workstreams.
• Good IT skills, especially Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.
• Proactive and detail‑oriented in following up actions.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.
• Experience with FTTH network builds.
• Knowledge of permits, traffic management and streetworks processes.
• Experience with project management, GIS or document control systems.
• Ability to read and manage drawings and technical documents.
• Familiarity with Depotnet is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate FTTH civils projects from survey to close-out.
• Maintain trackers, programmes, logs and registers.
• Liaise with project managers, site teams, subcontractors and clients.
• Coordinate streetworks permits, traffic management, drawings and risk assessments.
• Monitor milestones, update progress and escalate delays.
• Support procurement and resource coordination.
• Coordinate project documentation for HSEQ compliance.
• Ensure documentation is filed correctly.
