Paxton Personnel Ltd is recruiting an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator to support a well-established civil engineering contractor operating across the Highlands of Scotland. You will oversee temporary works planning, design, checks, installation and dismantling to ensure safety and compliance across multiple projects.

The role requires proven TW coordination experience, a CITB TWC qualification, and strong BS 5975 knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum of proven experience as Temporary Works Coordinator in civil engineering or construction.
• Recognised Temporary Works Coordinator qualification (e.g., CITB TWC).
• Strong knowledge of BS 5975 and temporary works procedures.
• Experience on civil projects such as roads, bridges and drainage.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and manage temporary works across civil engineering projects.
• Ensure designs, checks, installations, inspections and removals are safely carried out.
• Maintain temporary works registers and related documents.
• Liaise with designers, engineers, project managers and site teams.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals before works commence.
• Review design briefs, drawings and risk assessments.
• Monitor installations to ensure conformance with approved designs.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams.
