Job summary

Henderson Group is recruiting a Deli Team Member for SPAR Torgrange in Holywood. The role covers breakfast, lunch, or coffee service with a flexible schedule. You will work 16 hours per week across four shifts, with hours Monday to Sunday between 6:00am and 4:00pm, in a supportive team environment.

Salary ranges £12.10–£13.45 per hour depending on age, with great employee benefits and development opportunities within the Henderson Group family.

Responsibilities

• Listen to and understand customer needs and advise on products and services.
• Provide first-class service at the deli counter.
• Prepare, cook and bake goods while following food safety regulations.
• Keep prep areas and counters clean and tidy, including kitchen duties.
• Work as part of a team to keep SPAR Bakery and deli fresh and appetising.
• Undertake other duties as required for the role.

Our Deli’s are a convenient place for our customers to stop for breakfast, lunch or great coffee on the go. Our hard-working and friendly team make it all happen- from preparing delicious food, delivering first class customer service at the deli counter, or maintaining great hygiene standards by keeping the prep and service areas clean. You’ll be supported by a team of brilliant people, and there are fantastic career development and progression opportunities.

As Deli Team Member you will:

• Listening to and understanding our customers' needs and advising customers about our products and services.


• Provide a first-class service to all of our customers.


• Prepare, cook and bake goods, working within food safety regulations.


• Keeping prep areas and counters clean and tidy, including kitchen porter and production kitchen duties.


• Work as part of a team to ensure all counters - SPAR Bakery and deli remain fresh and appetizing for our customers.


• Undertake other duties as required for the role.

Skills for Success

• Don’t worry if you have no previous retail or foodservice experience - we’ll provide you with all the right training.
