Job summary

Henderson Group is recruiting a Daily Deli Team Member for SPAR Jordanstown in Newtownabbey. The role involves serving customers, preparing food to high hygiene standards, and supporting a friendly deli team within opening hours (6:00am–2:00pm).

The position is part-time (24 hours/week) with early mornings and a focus on great customer service. You will join a family-owned group with strong values and opportunities for development.

Daily Deli Team Member

Pay rates ranging from £12.10 - £13.45 per hour depending on your age and great benefits.

Part-time position available at 24 hours per week, working within the deli department opening hours, Monday to Sunday, 6:00am to 2:00pm. Please note that this role will involve working early mornings from 6am.

Our hard-working and friendly team make it all happen- from preparing delicious food, delivering first class customer service at the deli counter, or maintaining great hygiene standards by keeping the prep and service areas clean. As Daily Deli Team Member you will:

• Listening to and understanding our customers' needs and advising customers about our products and services.
• Provide a first class service to all of our customers.
• Prepare, cook and bake goods, working within food safety regulations.
• Keeping prep areas and counters clean and tidy, including kitchen porter and production kitchen duties.
• Work as part of a team to ensure all counters - SPAR Bakery and Daily deli remain fresh and appetizing for our customers.
• Undertake other duties as required for the role.

Skills for Success

Don't worry if you have no previous retail or foodservice experience - we'll provide you with all the right training.
