A vacancy has arisen at our Chapelfield Vets for a Fixed Term Contract.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic veterinary receptionist to join our team. The role involves reception duties such as booking appointments, managing small animal consultations, processing payments, answering phones, organizing vets' and nurses' diaries, handling medications, and administrative tasks. The position is based at our Wymondham branch, with coverage across our sister branches in Norwich, Costessey, Long Stratton, and Brooke for holidays and sickness.
The Chapelfield group has been a vital part of the Norwich and Norfolk community for many years, providing high-quality veterinary care. We operate small animal and equine practices across Norwich and East Anglia, with five practices in and around Norwich and a dedicated equine centre at Brooke.
Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, initiative, confidence in time management, problem-solving, and organization, along with good computer skills. Knowledge of Norfolk's geography is advantageous.
This is a part-time 20-hour position. Internal applications are welcome. Working hours will be during our opening times from 8 am to 6:30 pm.
