Our client is a leading global advisory business, currently seeking experienced Tax Managers and Consultants for their London office. These roles can be based anywhere in the UK, with remote and hybrid working options available.

The Opportunity

This firm specializes in advising the Wealth and Asset Management sector, including experts working across various alternative asset classes such as hedge funds, private equity funds, credit funds, and real estate. The client base comprises leading UK-based companies, US inbounds, and well-established UK, European, and global asset managers. With ambitious growth plans across all asset classes, there are numerous opportunities for exceptional candidates.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of complex tax advisory projects involving fund tax, international tax, UK corporation tax, UK income tax, capital gains tax, and other relevant tax matters.
• Build deep relationships within a portfolio of long-term clients, becoming their trusted advisor.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor junior staff to support their development.
• Contribute to team management in strategy, operations, staff development, and assignments.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Proactively pursue new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with UK and overseas offices.
• Engage with HM Revenue & Customs and other third parties, including financial institutions, lawyers, and wealth advisors.

• Qualifications such as ACA, CTA, Tax Inspectors with full technical training, Law, or tax specialist qualifications.
• Proven experience advising asset management clients, including international tax matters.
• Knowledge of the asset management and private assets industry.

• Experience coaching and developing junior staff.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Ability to motivate, manage, mentor, and train team members across the business.
• Asset management tax advisory experience within an accounting or law firm.
