Job summary

Danish Crown UK Ltd. is seeking a Production Trainer to develop frontline capability and ensure lines operate safely, consistently, and to defined standards. You will train, assess against standard work, and onboard new starters while embedding new ways of working across the site.

You will coach on-line performance, reinforce SOPs, and collaborate with Area Supervisors, Line Leaders, HR, and planning to close capability gaps and drive right-first-time outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering training or coaching in an operational setting.
• Understanding of shop floor operations and performance drivers.
• Ability to influence and support frontline teams while ensuring quality standards.
• Strong communication and coaching skills to develop frontline capability.
• Attention to detail and organisational discipline in a fast-paced plant.
• Experience working in production/manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver training for new and existing employees.
• Ensure training is aligned to defined standards and standard work.
• Support Line Leaders in developing team capability and maintaining skill levels.
• Identify skill gaps and develop training plans with Area Supervisors.
• Reinforce built-in quality and standardised work across lines and shifts.
• Deliver structured inductions for all new starters and onboarding.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and immediate feedback to staff.
• Support audits, inspections and ensure training records are auditable.
• Collaborate with HR and Labour Planning Lead on training plans and deployment.
