Job summary

Rotherwood Recruitment is seeking an experienced Outreach Project Worker to join our homelessness and housing support service in Burnley, covering Burnley and Pendle. You will engage with rough sleepers and individuals at risk of losing accommodation, delivering practical and emotional support to help them access housing and services.

You will build trusting relationships, manage a caseload, and collaborate with partners to facilitate safe, sustainable housing solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in homelessness/outreach settings.
• Trauma-informed and person-centred approaches.
• Ability to manage caseloads and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach visits to engage rough sleepers and those at risk of homelessness.
• Build trusting relationships with vulnerable individuals and provide support.
• Develop and monitor individual support plans addressing housing and wellbeing needs.
• Assist with housing applications, benefits, and resettlement activities.
• Coordinate with local authorities, housing providers, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate case notes, risk assessments, and reports.
