Job summary

AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust is recruiting a Junior Service Desk Engineer to provide first-line IT support from our Performance Centre and at the Vitality Stadium. You will help staff work effectively by delivering customer-focused assistance across Windows and Mac endpoints, Microsoft 365, and device management.

Based primarily at the Performance Centre, you will support colleagues across football and business operations, with some off-site work.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer-facing or technical support.
• Strong IT interest and willingness to learn.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Solid understanding of Windows and macOS.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage and prioritise workload.
• Attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to work across Club sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests at the Performance Centre.
• Log, prioritise and resolve service desk incidents and requests.
• Deliver professional, friendly and customer-focused support both in person and remotely.
• Escalate technical issues with ownership and communication.
• Support users across all Club departments.
• Assist with user onboarding, offboarding and account administration.
• Configure, deploy and support laptops/desktops/mobile devices.
• Maintain IT asset and inventory records.
• Provide Microsoft 365 support (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Support stadium/matchday technology and the Vitality Stadium.
• Maintain clear technical documentation.
• Follow security policies and handle data confidentially.
