Job summary

Neath Port Talbot Council is seeking a committed Support and Resettlement Assistant for a permanent part-time post (22 hours). The role focuses on practical housing and tenancy support for households in emergency accommodation, with travel across the Borough and beyond.

You will join a dynamic team and be supported through supervision and teamwork. The ideal candidate will have tenancy support or social care experience, GCSEs A-C, and good IT skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in tenancy support, advice service or social care.
• Suitable IT skills for documentation and case management.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing and tenancy related support to individuals in interim accommodation.
• Maintain safe living environments and assist with housing-related tasks.
• Travel across Neath Port Talbot and other Local Authority areas as needed.
• Work as part of a team with partners and other services to support service users.
