Job summary

Ringway is seeking a Supervisor to deliver safe, efficient capital works and routine maintenance across the highways network. You will lead frontline teams, plan daily works, monitor performance and costs, and ensure compliance with CDM and company safety rules.

You will work closely with Plant, Fleet and Area Managers to optimise assets, promote a culture of accuracy and customer satisfaction, and you’ll benefit from flexible working arrangements across many roles to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Front line responsibility for delivery of capital works, routine maintenance and winter/emergency response activities.
• Monitor skills and performance of operatives; plan training with Area Manager.
• Knowledge of CDM and safe working practices.
• Use bespoke software to deliver service requirements and manage costs.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and promote a safe environment for all operations under your authority and for the public.
• Supervise operational teams to meet productivity and quality targets; produce weekly costs and value using bespoke software.
• Collaborate with Plant and Fleet to manage assets efficiently and reduce damage incidents.
• Assist in planning daily works to ensure profitable returns and customer satisfaction.
• Promote and apply the company’s health and safety procedures and values.
