EMED Group is seeking an Emergency Care Assistant to join our Bristol team, working alongside paramedics on frontline ambulances. You will respond to 999 calls, inter-hospital transfers and events, while ensuring vehicles and equipment are maintained and ready for deployment at all times.

The role can be full time (4 on 4 off) or part time (2 on 6 off), permanent with a comprehensive benefits package and pension scheme. Based in Bristol, you’ll contribute to high-quality pre-hospital care.

Formación

• Note: actual qualifications required: emergency response driving credentials and patient care support.
• Ability to follow clinical instructions and maintain professional standards.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake emergency and planned retrieval driving in line with legislation and policies.
• Safely transport patients while maintaining professional driving standards.
• Support clinicians with patient assessment, management and observations.
• Complete pre- and post-shift vehicle and equipment checks and report defects.
• Remain ready for immediate deployment and support operational teams as required.
