Job summary

Citizens Advice in Ipswich is seeking a proactive Adviser to join the Generalist Core Advice Team. You will be the first contact for clients, offering face-to-face, telephone, and email guidance from our Tower Street offices.

After induction, you’ll start as a First Contact Adviser and can progress to a Generalist Adviser through training and experience. The role requires strong listening, organisational skills, and the ability to adapt to high demand while recording information on our Case

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for clients, providing advice face to face, over the telephone, and via email.
• Gather information and assess needs, providing appropriate advice or signposting.
• Record information accurately on the Case Management System.
• Progress from First Contact Adviser to Generalist Adviser with training and experience.
• Flexible across both roles and open to trainee progression.
