Job Description

As our next Receptionist, you…

  1. Are the ‘face of IBIS London City Shoreditch’, welcoming guests warmly and making their well-being a priority, adding a personal touch to their stay.
  2. Are present and visible in the lobby, contributing to guests' sense of well-being and loyalty, and responsible for greeting guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
  3. Prioritize guest relations while respecting administrative procedures.
  4. Create memorable moments for our guests.
  5. Anticipate guests’ needs and handle requests for information, providing appropriate assistance or contact.
  6. Assist the Food and Beverage team at the bar when needed to ensure guest satisfaction.

Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK and possess a current work visa. Evidence of eligibility will be required during recruitment.

Qualifications

  1. Experience with Opera Cloud or similar systems is preferred but not mandatory.
  2. Fluency in English.
  3. Strong customer service skills.
  4. Positive problem-solving approach.
  5. Good time-keeping and organization skills.
  6. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

Training will be provided in all front-of-house functions and safety procedures to support your success.

Fluency in English is essential to effectively welcome and care for our guests.
