Job summary

Major, Lindsey & Africa, on behalf of a leading global financial institution, seeks a senior lawyer to join its front-office legal team supporting Prime Brokerage, Cash Equities and Custody-related activities.

This is not a pure documentation role. The successful candidate will act as a trusted legal adviser to the business, partnering closely with trading, sales, operations, risk and product teams on strategic legal and commercial matters across the Prime Brokerage platform.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with Prime Brokerage and Securities Services exposure.
• Commercial adviser with broad business partnering experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and senior leadership collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Advising on Prime Brokerage, Cash Equities and related financing products.
• Supporting onboarding, third-party arrangements and broader business initiatives.
• Providing proactive legal and regulatory guidance to senior stakeholders.
• Working closely with custody, operations, front office and infrastructure teams.
• Helping drive business growth while appropriately managing legal risk.
