Job summary

Bruin is seeking a Prime Brokerage Risk professional in London to join a growing, entrepreneurial financial services platform. The role sits in a front-office aligned team with exposure to hedge funds and institutional clients, and involves risk management, margin methodologies, portfolio analysis and client engagement.

You will help shape the risk framework and infrastructure, working closely with trading, financing, operations and technology teams to deliver robust risk insights and scalable

Qualifications

• Experience in Prime Brokerage, Equities Financing or related risk function.
• Strong understanding of clearing models, margin methodologies and financing structures.
• Experience monitoring portfolio exposures across hedge fund/institutional client portfolios.
• Ability to interpret data, challenge assumptions and articulate risk models clearly.
• Hands-on individual who can operate with limited supervision.
• Bank or prime brokerage platform experience is advantageous.
• Python and/or SQL skills would be beneficial but not heavily quantitative.

Responsibilities
