Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Production Support professional to provide end-to-end support for front office trading applications and production infrastructure in London.

You will ensure system stability, monitor live environments, manage incidents and problems, and work closely with business and technology teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, experience with Unix and scripting, and a track record of production support in large-scale

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining IT services.
• Experience with front-office trading applications and equities markets.
• Experience in Incident and Problem management.
• Experience in using Unix commands.
• Strong communication to translate tech language into business impact.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Unix Shell, Python) and willingness to learn new languages.
• Understanding of Agile methodology.
• Ability to collaborate in teams and build relationships.
• Knowledge of applications/infrastructure in large-scale environments (on-prem and cloud).
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools and ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to enable business operations.
• Support day-to-day maintenance of the firm’s systems to ensure stability and availability.
• Assist in monitoring production environments for anomalies and address issues with observability tools.
• Identify escalation points and communicate solutions to business and technology stakeholders.
• Analyze complex situations to anticipate and solve incident, problem, and change management for full stack systems.
