Job summary

Aramark is recruiting a Front of House Steward for RAF Northolt in Ruislip, a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on delivering high standards of customer service in a military catering environment, with responsibilities across front-of-house operations and food service support.

You will work 35 hours per week, across 5 days, with shifts from early morning to evening. The role includes training, uniform provision, pension, life assurance, and opportunities for career progression

Qualifications

• Previous catering or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided

Responsibilities

• Serving food following prescribed portion control methods and service procedures
• Answering customer questions regarding allergens and menu items
• Assisting with food preparation as directed by the Kitchen Manager and in line with Aramark brand standards
• Restocking food, beverages, and merchandise displays
• Cleaning and maintaining front and back-of-house areas to a high standard
• Cleaning and tidying counters, service areas, and light catering equipment
• Reporting customer feedback, complaints, stock requirements, breakages, faults, and hazards to management
• Completing daily paperwork and maintaining accurate records
• Following food hygiene, food safety, and health & safety procedures at all times
• Undertaking training and development activities as required
• Supporting the wider catering team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Assisting with hospitality functions and events when required

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Front of House Steward to join our team at RAF Northolt, Ruislip, HA4 6NG on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy catering and hospitality operation, delivering exceptional customer service while supporting front-of-house and food service activities within a military environment.
