£28,875 + benefits

Permanent – Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

Monday to Friday (may include some evenings and weekends)

We are a not-for-profit charity dedicated to providing excellent care with a family feel, supporting older people for over 100 years. Our services include care homes, day care, and grants for those in financial difficulty.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Front of House Manager to work alongside the management team to ensure the successful opening of our new care home in Calcot, Reading. The home features:

  • 66 luxury bedrooms with ensuite wet rooms
  • A cinema for residents
  • A stylish salon
  • A library
  • A vibrant bar

The environment aims to be warm and homely, providing exceptional residential, dementia, and respite care.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a first point of contact for enquiries and visitors
  • Implement initiatives to generate customer enquiries and maximize revenue
  • Manage administrative tasks such as invoicing, supplies, and training bookings
  • Support community engagement events and activities
  • Oversee resident move-ins and ensure bedrooms are maintained to high standards
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum GCSE Maths and English
  • Experience in administrative support, confidentiality, and efficiency
  • Knowledge of financial and HR policies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and relevant systems
  • Desirable: AAT or NVQ Level 2 in Administration
  • Experience in promoting services for older people or within a charity (desirable)
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles
