You’ll lead reception, guest services, lobby and night operations, while shaping career paths and driving guest satisfaction. A supportive senior team backs your efforts as you push for high performance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven front office leadership in a high-volume hotel (500+ bedrooms).
• Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
• People-first leader who coaches, develops and brings people with them.
• Strong understanding of the guest journey, service recovery and front office metrics.
• Commercial awareness and confident decision-making under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and inspire a large front office team across reception, guest services, lobby and night operations.
• Be a visible presence in the lobby during peak arrival and departure periods.
• Shape team structure and career pathways, building a high-performance, positive culture.
• Drive guest satisfaction, online reputation and service recovery.
• Overseeing operational efficiency, labour productivity and front office KPIs.
• Work closely with Revenue, Reservations, Housekeeping, Maintenance and F&B.
• Ensure audit, cash handling, compliance, health and safety and security standards.
• Lead process improvements and operational change.

£58,000–£60,000 + up to 15% bonus + excellent benefits

Troika Recruitment is partnering with one of the largest hotels in the UK to appoint a Front of House Manager. It's a rare chance to lead front office at a scale few hotels can match, and to put your own stamp on a department that is ready for change.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a senior, strategic role leading a large front office operation across a busy, multi-product hotel welcoming groups, leisure and corporate guests. You'll have the backing of a supportive senior team to modernise structures and processes, develop your people and build a culture that the team is proud to be part of.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Leading, developing and inspiring a large front office team, including reception, guest services, lobby and night operations
• Being a visible, confident presence in the lobby during peak arrival and departure periods
• Shaping team structure and career pathways, and building a high-performance, positive culture
• Driving guest satisfaction, online reputation and service recovery
• Overseeing operational efficiency, labour productivity and front office KPIs
• Working closely with Revenue, Reservations, Housekeeping, Maintenance and F&B
• Ensuring audit, cash handling, compliance, health and safety and security standards are met
• Leading process improvements and operational change

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Proven front office leadership in a high-volume hotel, ideally 500+ bedrooms
• Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment
• A people-first leader with energy and presence, who coaches, develops and brings people with them
• Strong understanding of the guest journey, service recovery and front office metrics
• Commercial awareness and confidence making decisions under pressure
• Experience from large city hotels, airport hotels or cruise ships is welcome
