Job summary

National Trust is seeking a Food and Beverage Team Member for the Anglesey Abbey site, Cambridge. The role focuses on front-of-house service, welcoming visitors and delivering an outstanding customer experience in a busy cafe environment.

The position is a zero-hour contract with shifts including weekends and Bank Holidays. Full training, induction and allergen/food safety guidance are provided. Location: Anglesey Abbey, Quy Road, Cambridge CB25 9EJ.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; friendly approach and willingness to learn.
• Able to work as part of a team or on own initiative.
• Strong customer service mindset and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors in the cafe, ensuring a warm welcome and high service standards.
• Maintain food and beverage presentation, cleanliness and stock levels.
• Support kitchen team with food prep when needed and keep displays up to date.
