Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking an experienced Catering Assistant to support a contract catering team in a fast-paced environment. You will help ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, customer service, and operational efficiency while assisting with daily service and cash handling when needed.

This part-time role runs 9.00 am – 4.30 pm, 3 days per week (21 hours). The role supports team operations and may involve volunteering for additional shifts and development opportunities.

Qualifications

Experience is preferred but not essential.
Previous experience preferred.

Assist and support catering staff during daily service.
Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently delivered.
Assist with food preparation, presentation and service.
Monitor food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
Ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements.
