Front of House Assistant

London

Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: 13.85
Hours: 40 per week

We are seeking a Front of House Assistant to join our team at a prestigious B&I location in London, catering to approximately 300 people daily. The venue offers breakfast, lunch, a barista coffee bar, and high-end hospitality services. The role operates Monday to Friday, with additional benefits including access to an on-site gym and other location amenities.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a fast-paced catering environment, such as a catering assistant or supervisor, and are looking to advance into managerial roles. You should enjoy working with a great team and delivering excellent customer service.

Main Duties:

• Serving and interacting with staff and pupils during mealtimes
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Washing, storing, and polishing crockery, cutlery, and glassware
• Providing food and beverage service, including minor food preparations
• Setting up, serving, clearing, cleaning, and storing for special functions
• Working additional hours during and outside term time for events and lettings
• Operating cleaning and dishwashing equipment, and maintaining cleanliness of service areas
• Completing hygiene duties and assisting with meal documentation and service
• Serving customers, visitors, and guests to high standards
• Maintaining vending equipment and ensuring proper operation
