Job summary

ARNE, a UK-based apparel and footwear brand, seeks a Front-End Developer to shape the digital experience for customers. You will build and optimise customer-facing features across our Shopify Plus storefront and app, driving conversion and improving user experience to support growth.

Collaborating with our UX Designer, Product Lead, and Ecommerce Manager, you will translate designs into performant, accessible code while contributing to platform strategy and CRO initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with HTML, CSS/SCSS and JavaScript.
• Proven experience with Shopify including Liquid; Shopify Plus is advantageous.
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.
• Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows.
• Collaborates with designers and ecommerce teams to deliver features.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and optimise front end features across ARNE's Shopify Plus storefront.
• Translate UX/UI designs into clean, performant, accessible code.
• Work with UX Designer, Product Lead and Ecommerce Manager to ship new features.
• Support A/B testing and CRO initiatives with fast implementation.
• Ensure site performance, accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
• Troubleshoot front end bugs and issues.
• Collaborate with dev agency on larger scope work and handovers.
• Contribute to platform strategy discussions (theme development, headless considerations).
