Job summary

ARNE is seeking a Front-End Developer to join our UK-based apparel brand. You will build and optimise customer-facing features across our Shopify Plus storefront and app, translating UX/UI designs into clean, performant code that improves conversion and user experience.

Work closely with the UX Designer, Product Lead and Ecommerce Manager to ship new features, support CRO testing, ensure accessibility (WCAG) and cross‑browser compatibility, and troubleshoot front-end issues.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with HTML, CSS/SCSS and JavaScript.
• Experience with Shopify including Liquid and theme development.
• Familiarity with Shopify Plus is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development.
• Experience using Git and collaborative development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and optimise front end features across our Shopify Plus storefront.
• Translate UX/UI designs into clean, performant, accessible code.
• Collaborate with the UX Designer, Product Lead and Ecommerce Manager to ship new features.
• Support A/B testing and CRO initiatives with fast, reliable implementation.
• Ensure site performance, accessibility (WCAG) and cross-browser/device compatibility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front end bugs and issues.
• Collaborate with our dev agency on larger scope work and handovers.
• Contribute to platform strategy discussions (theme development, headless considerations).
