Delta Hotels by Marriott York is seeking a hotel receptionist to welcome guests, check them in and out, and handle payments and guest inquiries. You will liaise with housekeeping, provide directions, and ensure guest requests are resolved with professionalism.

You will run daily arrivals/departures reports, maintain records, follow health and safety rules, protect guest information, and grow strong teamwork with colleagues across departments.

Responsabilidades

• Process guest check-ins by confirming reservations, allocating rooms, and issuing room keys.
• Process payments including debit/credit cards and electronic methods per hotel procedures.
• Handle check-outs and resolve late or disputed charges.
• Answer, record, and process guest calls, messages, requests and concerns; liaise with Housekeeping.
• Provide guests with directions and information about the hotel and local areas.
• Run daily reports for arrivals/departures and check reports for accuracy.
• Complete payment and end-of-shift reports in the computer system.
• Follow health, safety and security policies and report incidents to the manager.
• Maintain professional uniform and confidentiality of guest information and hotel assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, and assist guests with disabilities.
• Communicate clearly with guests and colleagues with proper telephone etiquette.
• Develop positive working relationships and contribute to teamwork and QA standards.
