Job summary

WESTWOOD INN LIMITED PARTNERSHIP seeks a front desk agent to greet guests, register arrivals, manage reservations, and handle payments at our Swan River location. Evening and weekend shifts may apply; on-site work only.

The role requires English proficiency, basic clerical skills, and customer service focus, with health and financial benefits offered. Employment is permanent and full-time, with 30–40 hours per week.

Qualifications

  • Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Front desk or hospitality experience is an asset.
  • Ability to manage reservations and guest services.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms.
  • Process group arrivals and departures.
  • Take, cancel and change room reservations.
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures.
  • Clerical duties (faxing, filing, photocopying).
  • Answer telephone and relay calls/messages.
  • Assist guests with special needs.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Provide customer service.
