Job summary

Tesco is looking for a Customer Delivery Driver to represent the brand on the road and bring groceries to customers' homes with a smile. The role combines driving with hands-on customer service, requiring you to manage loading, checks, and on-time deliveries across varying shifts.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour and rises to £15.45 in stores within the M25, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week. Roles from 12 hours are also available, offering flexible working patterns and benefits.

Qualifications

• Efficient at planning routes and managing time to meet delivery windows.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays and work area clean, tidy and organised for safe delivery.
• Load van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes or substitutions to customers and process refunds when needed.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and customer trust.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot with warm, professional service at the doorstep.
