Job summary

Tesco’s Customer Delivery Driver role puts you on the road to meet customers in their homes, delivering groceries with a smile. It’s hands-on, physical, busy, and no two shifts are the same. You’ll be independent for much of the day, supported by managers and colleagues back at base.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in stores within the M25, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and options for 12-hour roles. A full UK driving licence with few points is required.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Excellent customer service with a warm, friendly attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers within their time slot.
• Load the van safely and keep it tidy and roadworthy.
• Provide warm, natural service at the doorstep and handle order changes.
• Maintain good relationships with colleagues to ensure service quality.
• Be adaptable to changes on the road and in-store requirements.
