Job summary

Tesco is looking for Customer Delivery Drivers to bring groceries to customers’ homes across the UK. This role goes beyond driving, offering a friendly, helpful service with a smile and adapting to varying shifts.

You'll work independently for much of the day, supported by managers and colleagues back at base. Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in M25 stores, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and roles from 12 hours available.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Able to deliver groceries to customers in their homes with a friendly, helpful service.
• Flexible to work shifts including evenings and weekends as shown in the availability window.

Responsibilities

• Keep the van, trays, and work area clean, tidy, and organised so each customer receives their shopping in perfect condition.
• Load the van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness and reliability.
• Explain order changes or substitutions to customers in a friendly way and process refunds when needed to keep the experience smooth.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and customer trust.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot, providing warm service at the doorstep and ensuring the customer feels valued.
