Job summary

Tailor Made Resources Limited is seeking a Technical Manager to drive food safety, quality, and compliance across fresh produce products. You will support the Head of Technical with customer specifications and supplier documentation, while maintaining internal standards and audit readiness.

The role focuses on BRCGS compliance, HACCP culture, and collaboration with retail customers and technical teams to ensure accurate product information and conformance across platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in Fresh Produce essential.
• Strong knowledge of Food Safety, Quality, QMS, BRCGS and HACCP Level 3.
• Experience with major retail customers and their technical requirements.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Head of Technical with customer requirements and queries.
• Maintain product and customer specifications.
• Manage supplier approvals and due-diligence documentation.
• Investigate complaints and non-conformances; implement corrective actions.
• Support food safety, quality, legality and product authenticity.
• Conduct internal audits and track non-conformances.
• Maintain BRCGS, Red Tractor and customer standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers and technical teams on visits and assessments.
• Oversee labeling and product information accuracy.
• Maintain technical documentation and training records.
• Support HACCP and contribute to site food safety culture.
• Identify and address training requirements.
